A Night in the Vineyard
Dear Friends and Patrons of Magruder Hospital,
We would like to formally invite you to attend the 56th Annual Magruder Hospital Auxiliary Charity Ball at the Catawba Island Club on Friday, February 26, 2010. This year’s theme is “A Night in the Vineyard.”
We hope you join us as we enjoy an evening of culinary delights and entertainment to entice everyone under the Tuscan sky. Our evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails followed by a succulent journey through the most well-known wine countries and their culinary offerings. We are excited to announce that the band “Wheatfield Soul” is back by popular demand and will offer a fabulous opportunity to dance the night away.
You can join us in the vineyards for a reasonable price of only $50 per person or $100.00 per couple. But of course, this low ticket price serves only to cover the actual cost of this much-anticipated event. The true fund raising capability of this evening is dependent upon tax-deductible donations by generous supporters like you. Your continued support is a testament to your honorable philanthropic spirit. We hope you can help make this year the most successful Charity Ball in recent history.
This year, your tax-deductible gift will be used to help fund the private inpatient room project currently underway at the hospital. This project will create all new private inpatient rooms with design themes of Outdoors, Botanical, Cape Cod and Tuscan for color combinations, artwork and design selections. All donations that are received by February 19, 2010, will be formally acknowledged and publicly recognized at the Charity Ball. In addition, your donation will be communicated to over 16,000 residents through Magruder Hospital’s annual report to the community.
As Co-Chairs, we want you to know that your continued support of this event is appreciated, and your valued commitment is treasured by the people we serve. We are looking forward to you joining us for “A Night in the Vineyard.” Warmest Regards,
Adrienne & Scott Hines Julie & William St. Leger
